The Math Department at CVSR offers a full range of courses for all students, from those needing extra support to those who are budding mathematicians. Advanced Placement courses include AB Calculus and Computer Science. Our students routinely perform above the national percentage placement. This year CVSR added new courses to their students. In addition, to offering more tutoring programs and more online resources for students in different grades.

12th Grade LINCT

In the Math: Quantitative Reasoning course, students are introduced to quantitative analysis by focusing on a broad range of topics that emphasize number sense, algebra, and statistics. In the fall, students earn credit for a high school course that builds foundational skills for college coursework. In the spring, they earn high school and college credit through College Now for CUNY BMCC’s MAT161.5: Topics in Quantitative Reasoning.

AP Statistics – 12th grade

  • · Statistical Methods
  • · Data Analysis
  • · Using Probability and Simulation
  • · Statistical Argumentation
